Stephanie Corne is a French-born, New York–based painter whose work explores the space between what is seen and what is felt.
Working across series, she navigates landscapes, water, and abstraction as places where memory, perception, and presence intersect.
Her paintings often center on the moon as a unifying element—both intimate and universal, a quiet witness to human experience.
Rooted in intuition yet guided by a deep sensitivity to the language of color, Corne approaches painting as a process of discovery.
The work unfolds gradually, revealing what is not yet fully known, allowing form, atmosphere, and meaning to emerge through gesture and attention. There is, throughout her practice, a dialogue between structure and freedom, between surface and depth.
Alongside her studio practice, Corne has developed a parallel body of work in architectural surfaces and mural restoration, bringing her painterly approach into private residences and cultural spaces.
This experience informs her technical precision and material intelligence, while remaining grounded in a fine art sensibility.
